Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. The comedian appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea first began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011 after playing small roles that she acted on Irish and British television dramas from 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to regularly appear on sketch and sitcoms. After she received an award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panel show where she is now a staple. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of its sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who committed suicide after Bea turned three was the sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his death only at 13 years old. To honor her dad, she adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides and deaths that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher, jockey trainer, and an ex-professional jockey. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she realized her true passion was performing and not racing.
